  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 pint chocolate ice cream
  • 1 pint strawberry ice cream
  • 1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup
  • 1 (16 ounce) can strawberry topping
  • 1 (16 ounce) can pineapple topping
  • 1 (8 ounce) can whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Waffle bowls or long banana split dishes

Instructions

  1. Gently peel each banana. Slice each banana lengthwise into two halves.
  2. Arrange the banana halves in a waffle bowl or banana split dish to create a “boat” shape.
  3. Place a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center of the banana “boat.”
  4. Add a scoop of chocolate ice cream to one side of the vanilla ice cream.
  5. Add a scoop of strawberry ice cream to the other side of the vanilla ice cream.
  6. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the vanilla ice cream.
  7. Spoon strawberry topping over the strawberry ice cream.
  8. Spoon pineapple topping over the chocolate ice cream.
  9. Add a dollop of whipped cream on top of each scoop of ice cream.
  10. Sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans over the entire sundae.
  11. Top each dollop of whipped cream with a maraschino cherry.
  12. Add sprinkles (optional).
  13. Serve immediately and enjoy!
