Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Chocolate syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, crush the 24 Oreo cookies until they resemble fine crumbs. Alternatively, place the cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated and the mixture resembles wet sand.
  4. Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Once done, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
  7. Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Continue to beat until well combined and fluffy.
  8. In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  9. Once the pudding has thickened, gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  10. Fold in the whipped topping until everything is well combined.
  11. Once the Oreo crust has cooled completely, pour the cream cheese and chocolate pudding filling into the crust. Spread it evenly with a spatula.
  12. Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
  13. Remove the pie from the refrigerator and take off the plastic wrap. Optionally, add extra whipped topping on top.
  14. Crush a few extra Oreo cookies and sprinkle them over the top.
  15. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.
  16. Slice the pie into wedges and serve it chilled.

Notes

  • For best results, allow the pie to chill overnight to enhance the flavors.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut clean slices, wiping it between cuts for neatness.
