  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Maraschino cherries (for garnish)
  • Additional shredded coconut (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients: Lay everything out on the counter for easy access.
  2. Measure the liquids: Pour 1 cup of coconut milk and 1 cup of pineapple juice into a measuring cup.
  3. Prepare the banana: Peel and slice the ripe banana into smaller pieces.
  4. Drain the crushed pineapple: Ensure the crushed pineapple is well-drained to avoid excess moisture.
  5. Get your blender ready: Clean and dry your blender.
  6. Add the ice cream: Place 2 cups of vanilla ice cream into the blender.
  7. Pour in the coconut milk and pineapple juice: Add the measured coconut milk and pineapple juice.
  8. Add the banana and crushed pineapple: Toss in the sliced banana and drained crushed pineapple.
  9. Incorporate the shredded coconut: Add 1/4 cup of shredded coconut to the blender.
  10. Sweeten it up (if desired): Add 1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup for extra sweetness, if preferred.
  11. Blend it all together: Secure the lid and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy (30-60 seconds).
  12. Check the consistency: If too thick, add a splash more coconut milk and blend again.
  13. Prepare your glasses: Chill serving glasses in the freezer for a few minutes if desired.
  14. Pour the milkshake: Fill the glasses about three-quarters full with the milkshake.
  15. Top with whipped cream: Generously dollop whipped cream on top of each milkshake.
  16. Garnish with cherries and coconut: Add a maraschino cherry and sprinkle additional shredded coconut on top.
  17. Serve immediately: Enjoy your Pina Colada Milkshake fresh and cold!

Notes

  • For a thicker shake, reduce the amount of coconut milk.
