Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added nutrition)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries under cold water, hull them, and slice them in half.
  2. Peel the banana and slice it into smaller pieces.
  3. Measure out the Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), and chia seeds.
  4. In a blender, add the sliced strawberries and banana.
  5. Pour in the Greek yogurt and almond milk. Add honey or maple syrup and chia seeds if using.
  6. Secure the lid and blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high speed for about 30-60 seconds until smooth. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again for a thicker consistency.
  7. Taste the smoothie and add more honey or maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter. Blend briefly to mix in any additional sweetener.
  8. Pour the smoothie into glasses, using a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender.
  9. Optionally, garnish with whole strawberries or a sprinkle of chia seeds.
  10. Enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture. If you have leftovers, store them in the fridge for a few hours, but note that the texture may change.
