Instructions

  1. Start by selecting a tall glass, such as a highball or a hurricane glass.
  2. Rinse the glass with cold water and fill it with ice cubes to chill.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, pour in 2 oz of tequila.
  4. Add 4 oz of freshly squeezed orange juice to the shaker.
  5. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake gently for about 10-15 seconds.
  6. Remove the ice from your chilled glass.
  7. Carefully pour the tequila and orange juice mixture into the glass over fresh ice.
  8. Slowly pour 1/2 oz of grenadine syrup into the glass, either down the side or directly into the center.
