Slates are a natural, hand cut material. The thickness and the way the slate is cut may vary slightly. Because of this possibility, the colors in a photo on one slate may look moderately different on another slate. The slate may also have modest differences in the way the white coating appears on the surface of the slate and how it overlaps onto some of the fractured edges or the sides of the slate.

is submitted and try to make even a less than ideal photo look

as good as possible on the finished slate. So if you don’t have a

300 DPI photo, rest assured that I will do my best to optimize

the photo so that it yields the best results possible on the slate.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SLATES –

The slates are a natural, hand cut material and shape, size, and coating may vary. Because of this possibility, the colors in a photo and/or design on one slate may look moderately different on another slate (so if ordering multiple slates they may not all look 100% alike). Slates may also have modest differences in the way the white coating on the surface of the stone appears. Because these stones are hand cut, the overall shape may not be a perfect rectangle, square or oval. Since slates could be moderately different in size and with fractured edges the end result may not or may not appear to have a perfectly centered design.
